The case for this year’s Hack-at-ICE revolves around the G20 pillars. Below are some guiding questions based on each pillar, but feel free to establish your own question and/or problem statement.

Global Health Architecture

  • How do we ensure effective global risk mitigation measures toward pandemics?
  • How do we increase access to basic health education and health care in deprived communities?
  • How do we address the problem of health talent scarcity?
  • How can we increase awareness of mental health and other unseen disabilities?

Sustainable Energy Transition

  • How do we ensure a just energy transition that benefits most, if not all, layers of society?
  • How can technology help in lowering the capital cost for sustainable energy?
  • How can we mobilise individuals to take part in the sustainable energy transition?

Digital Transformation

  • How can we ensure equitable access to digital tools and processes?
  • How can digital footprint, privacy, and security be tightened as we move to a more digital society?
  • How can we develop and hire the right digital talent?
